JUDERM

Jude Maceren is an incredible artist and is my showcase for today. He is a published artist residing at New Jersey and has two studio locations; in New Jersey and Costa Rica both of which he expresses his creativity. Creating fine art work is his passion, and it's evident in his work.

He says that at this point of his career he has an opportunity to express himself freely through painting inspired by the beauty of nature. He likes to paint the joy and the love that creation radiates to men. Because of this, he believes that there is a never-ending exchange of love between these two which he wants to show in the form of a painting.

He has created a series of exotic flowers done traditionally in acrylic, oil and watercolor which he was inspired to paint capturing the beauty, freshness, joy and love that radiate from each flower at its peak of blooming. His series of paintings evolve from flowers, animals and people showing that "There is a relationship of love in all created things".

Most of his items sold are prints and original art that he has created in watercolor, oil and acrylic mediums. Jude says, "I want to reach the people who love flowers and enjoy the beauty of nature through art." His work his been published in magazines, books, posters, and brochures of editorial, corporate and advertising publications. His client list includes: American Management Association, At-A-Glance, AT&T, Avon Books, Beckman, Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, Chicago Tribune, Fannie Mae, John Hancock, HR Magazine, Management Review Magazine, MCI, Modern Maturity Magazine, Moneygram, Mr. Coffee, Network Computing Magazine, NTC / Contemporary Publishing, Oracle, Prentice Hall, Purdue Agicultures Magazine, Quantum Learning Inc., The House of Seagram, The Purdue Alumnus Magazine, Web Server Magazine, and Your Money Magazine.

Awards he has received include (1984-2003): First Place United Nations Stamp Design Award, Boli Award (Best of Long Island Award), Optima Design Award, Northwest Craftmen's Club Award, The Visual Club Award and New Jersey Press Association Award, University Of Santo Tomas College Of Fine Arts Venavides Award, St. Lorenzo Ruiz Painting Competition Award.

The first time I visited the "JUDERM" store, I was spellbound. Jude Maceren is amazingly creative, and it is an honor to showcase his work here. Visit the JUDERM store, and you'll be amazed, too.

Irisangel Graphics

If I had to use just one word to describe the work of Irisangel, it would be Classy. The “About Me” section of her store says that it should really be “About Us”, though. I became acquainted with Peggy online quite some time ago, but she says that she and her husband, Ed, make up the "team". They are retired and finally get a chance to pursue new and interesting places to travel, new people to meet and enjoying every minute of the journey. She and Ed have four children and eight grandchildren. I’m sure they keep them quite busy, too. Ed is retired from the NYPD, and Peggy has done just about everything from teaching ceramics to restaurant management. She started uploading images in October 2006 when she couldn’t work any longer because of serious back problems and arthritis. Zazzle and the stock sites have given them places to share their wonderful talent with the rest of us, and what a blessing that is!

Peggy describes their designs as being rather unique in that they are image and illustration compositions. They are all original designs that you can personalize with your own names, information or greeting. They specialize in wedding and anniversary invitations using a combination of techniques to create not only unique but elegant designs. The beautiful style carries over into all the holiday creations, too.

Trying to pick just a few items to feature today was a very difficult job. When you visit their store, I'm sure you will see why. Whether you are looking for greeting cards, invitation packages (including cards, stickers, placeholders, postage, etc.), ornaments, necklaces, or postage, I’m sure you’ll find something perfect for your needs.

Encourage One Another

Encourage One Another is a beautiful store full of “Words of faith to lift your spirit and soul.” I have been acquainted with Denise Beverly’s work for quite some time now. Denise is a Christian wife and mother who lives in the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee on the border of Southwest Virginia. She is a self-taught photographer and digital artist who considers her art a gift from God, and from her father who was an avid photographer and is now resting safe in the arms of Jesus. Denise says she is a simple person who is fascinated by God’s creation and in awe of His mercy and grace. This is evidenced in her designs.

Denise also offers her art at a local store called Treasures In Time and online with Zazzle, Greeting Card Universe, and printbusinesscards.com.

I have selected a few of this very creative artist’s work to feature here, and I know you will enjoy it as much as I do. Please be sure to visit her at Encourage One Another.

Daydreams Designs by Cheri - Clickinchic

My first feature is Cheri, out of Texas. Cheri has been married for almost 28 years, has four children and four grandchildren. She calls her store Daydreams Designs by Cheri and goes by the name clickinchic.

Daydreams Designs by Cheri offers her simple artwork on mostly customizable products with poetry and sweet sentiments. Since photography has always been a hobby with her, you will also find beautiful gifts in her Photography ~ Cards & Postcards section.

Whether you are looking for something cute or serious, I’m sure you’ll find something you like in Cheri’s store. Here are a couple of my favorites.

We're Just Beginning!

It has been on my mind for quite some time now to do a blog that features Christian artists. The hardest part is taking the first step and moving forward. The mind is willing to "do", but the schedule always seems to say "I have other plans for you!" So today, I pressed in and set the plan in motion.

There are a lot of people who have a God-given talent for art in many different forms. With all of the confusion in our world today, it is very inspiring to see people using what they have been given to share their Christian faith. The purpose of this blog is to feature those individuals and the beautiful creativity within them. Please look for my first featured artist in the next day or two. In the meantime, be sure to follow me so you don't miss anything.
